Karen Jarvis

My name is Karen Jarvis.  I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  I have been a practicing therapist since 1990.  I have invested in trauma therapy since 2000 and have been certified in EMDR and ART, trained in BrainSpotting, EMDR and the Flash Technique, but I am very excited to have my certification in Havening as it has been more effective at helping clients who have done the other trauma therapies to get unstuck and to bring about healing in a beautiful calming way.  My clients love the soothing and calming gift of Havening touch but most of all love the freedom to not react that they have not experienced previously.  I gladly respect people’s belief systems whether faith based or not, and also have the privilege to work in a unapologetic Christian Counseling practice to serve those whose Christian faith is very important to them.  I look forward to this healing journey together.
